versus

Game (ゲーム Gēmu?) is one of the thirteen natural enemies featured in Versus, originating from Extremia.[1]

Biology

Due to its nature, very little is currently known about the Game. From what was seen, it appears to be a very large, mechanized structure that would allow multiple humans to play the Game. It also seems to allow the players to retry the game multiple times, though for what reason this is and how it operates still remain unclear.

Overall Strength

Given Game is a natural enemy that has brought humanity in Extremia to near-extinction, it is naturally an extremely powerful entity. The humans of Extremia are very fearful of Game, expressing the desire to return to playing it for fear of retaliation from the enemy. Like a typical video game, this natural enemy seems to be structured with certain rules that humans need to adhere to. It is apparently able to manifest consequences for violating the rules, as shown when two of the citizens of Extremia expressed fear over being penalized for leaving the game.

History

Background

At some point in the past, Game appeared in Extremia and subjugated nearly all of humanity. The humans of Extremia made a portal to request help from other realities, and when the worlds merged, Game was brought into the new world along with the rest of the natural enemies.
