The World Tree (
Biology
The World Tree is a colossal tree with roots that stretch vast distances, seemingly capable of encircling an entire planet.[1][2] A piece of its root can be cut and planted elsewhere, and a single drop of water is enough to activate it, causing it to regrow instantly.[3] The World's Essence, an extract from the tree, grants a significant boost to the user's life energy when consumed.[4]
Overall Strength
Although much about the World Tree remains unknown, it is known to absorb life essence from an entire planet, leaving it desolate.[5] Its massive roots can break through the ground, seemingly creating huge chasms and even cutting off routes.[2]
History
Background
At some point in the past, the World Tree began absorbing life essence from the planet of the Yggdrasion world, gradually transforming it into a barren husk.[5]
Introduction Arc
While being pursued by a Titan, Zaybi, Hallow, Panepane, Keila, Olly, and Patro come across a huge chasm blocking their escape route to the teleportation circle, with several giant roots present.[2]
